Routt County United Way Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

Thursday, November 24, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Community Center

A full-course traditional dinner will be served for the entire community with everyone invited. Local volunteers donate all the food and their time. Chefs from different local restaurants provide their master carving techniques for the more than 25 cooked turkeys donated.

FOR NON-SKIERS

Although a great many people will be out on the slopes skiing on Thanksgiving Day as their turkey and trimmings are slowly cooking at home, for those who prefer other snow activities, here are a few of them that can be enjoyed in over 1.5 million acres of forests, meadows, and hundreds of miles of trails.

Snowmobiling

Combine the big horsepower of a 600cc engine with spectacular scenery as you travel through the back country on a half-day or full-day tour. Check out Rabbit Ears Pass and the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. A sunset dinner tour includes an outstanding meal in a secluded cabin on top of the Continental Divide in the Routt National Forest.
